Here’s my seven day schedule for my modified cleanse. I allow vegetable/protein back in slowly and ease out of the detox sooner. I think three days is sufficient at emptying and cleaning out your system.

For 3 days, prepare and drink 10 cups of lemon/syrup juice each day.

I make my juice for each day by doing the following:
- Take an empty gallon water jug, fill it with:
– juice of 6 whole organic lemons (fist size, not small)
– 1.25 cups of organic Grade B maple syrup
– 10 cups of water
I like to take my cayenne pepper separately, in pill form. Get cayenne pills (40,000 heat-units), 300mg each. Take 5 pills throughout day, so 1 with every other drink of juice.

The above amount is for one drink. This is how I make it instead. I buy 3 heads of romain lettuce, 20 stalks of green kale, 6 apples, 3 lemons, and 9 inches of fresh ginger. I juice all of this and make approximately 64 oz of green lemonade. I then use the water bottles from Sam’s Club (the small ones, usually around 8 oz each) and I fill up eight of these empty bottles with the juice. I then store the bottles of juice in my freezer and before I go to bed, I take one out and put it in the fridge so that its thawed out by morning and ready to drink. (more…)
