What to do before you pig out (thanksgiving, xmas dinner, etc)

Okay, let’s face facts.  Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, 4th of July BBQ’s… these aren’t the times to worry about your diet.  They are the special times when you need to stuff your face to the max!  So what precautions can you take so that all that food doesn’t become a spare tire.

Simple lesson.  Go workout out right before you eat.  And not just any kind of sissy workout but a heavy duty high-intensity kind of workout!  With at least 10 min cardio warm-up, 30-45 minutes heavy weight lifting with either 15 minutes of cardio or crunches to end it all.

Then go out.  Your metabolism will be so revved up and your body will be starving for protein and carbs that you can get away with eating like a runaway pig in an all-you-can-eat buffet!

Just remember to take your time when eating.  Our stomach takes a while to register when it’s full so you might be stuffing when you’re already way past the stuffed limit 😉
